We work with each bride and groom individually to make their wedding cake personalized and special. We recommend scheduling a tasting as far in advance as possible to ensure the date of your wedding is available. Bookings are made on a first come, first pay basis. We are a boutique bake shop and are limited in the number of events we can handle each weekend.

Prices start at $4.00/person for buttercream cakes and $5.00/person for rolled fondant. Prices range depending on detail work and design.

Our cakes are made to order and so we can cater to any flavor that you would like. Some popular flavor combinations are chocolate cake with chocolate hazelnut filling, white cake with raspberry filling, and yellow cake with chocolate buttercream.

The cake designs are also customized for each couple’s taste. If you have a picture of a cake you’d like, we always welcome them! The cake shape is up to you as well - Round, square, or shaped. Colors are also up to you – anything from classic white, to hot pink and black!

If a traditional wedding cake isn’t your speed, we can do decorative cupcakes on tiered stands. Prices vary based on design.

We deliver our wedding cakes across the Topsail area. Prices do vary based on the location of the event. If you prefer, we can arrange for the cake to be picked up as well.

 How much are your custom design and wedding cakes?
Pricing is determined on a cake-by-cake basis, by the complexity of the design. Once you have figured out roughly what the cake looks like and how many people you need to feed, we can give you a pretty accurate price estimate.

How do I order a cake?
If you are looking for a wedding cake or larger cake order (over 75 people), please fill out the form on the "contact us" page ... and we will email you a price quote and set up an appointment for a tasting, if desired.

If you are looking for a birthday or other special occasion cake (smaller than 75 people), think about what would be fun, creative, and really say something about the person who you are getting the cake for. Does he or she play any sports? Musical instruments?? Do they like pigs? Cars? Sports? Anything you can possibly think of, we can make into a cake. We love a challenge!! After you have an idea of what you'd like, please fill out the form on the "contact us" page ... and we will email you a price quote.

What's your payment policy?
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date; the remainder is due at least three weeks prior to your event.

Your order is not confirmed until we have received your signed contract and deposit via cash, check or credit card.

Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full by credit card at the time of ordering.

Do you deliver?
Delivery is available for wedding cakes and cakes that require on-site assembly only. We do not ship our cakes.

Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled. Our delivery range is roughly from Carolina Beach, $100; to Jacksonville, $25.

Do you ship your cakes?
We do not ship our cakes or any of the items we bake in the bakery. We don’t have the necessary tools to ship our baked goods.

Are you hiring?
We usually do our hiring in the early spring, before the summer season begins.

Can I come to your shop to watch you work?
We are a very small, very busy shop. Every cake we make is handcrafted to order, and while that makes for some really great cakes, it doesn't leave us with a lot of time for visitors.

Also, the health department would frown upon groups of people walking around where you order your food. And we don’t want to make them mad!

I am interested in cake decorating – how do I get started?
There are several different ways you can get started decorating your own cakes. Cape Fear Community College offers pastry classes as well as cake decorating. A less expensive alternative is Wilton cake classes, available at your local craft store. You can also find tons of cake decorating how to books at the Bookstore or Library. Just remember, be patient and practice a lot… it takes time… just like riding a bike.

I have dietary restrictions. Can you help?
Unfortunately it is very difficult to change our recipes to vegan or sugar free. The cakes just don’t stand up very well. I have, however used customers recipes and customer made cakes for extreme cases. We will work with you if you are desperately in need.
